FRANCESCA TANDOI

Italian pianist and singer Francesca Tandoi, who graduated from The Hague Royal Conservatory and Rotterdam Conservatory, is considered the new star of European jazz and is one of the most fascinating vocalists of the new generation. In just a few years, she has also earned recognition from prominent colleagues and has performed and worked in the studio with several outstanding jazz musicians, including American jazz legend Scott Hamilton.

Tandoi feels most free in the classic trio format, and in Riga she will perform together with two other great Italian jazz musicians - bassist Stefano Senni and drummer Giovanni Campanella. The program will definitely include pieces from her album Bop Web, which was released this year, where Francesca demonstrates the highest level of classical jazz technique and artistic sense.
