RODRIGO MANFRINATTI & KRISTIANS KALVA 4TET

Brazilian musician Rodrigo Manfrinati, who lives in Latvia, writes distinctly melodic songs based on Latin American rhythmic styles and performs them himself, together with like-minded colleagues from both South America and Latvia. At the Rīgas Ritmi Festival he will be joined by one of the best contemporary Latvian trumpeters, Kristians Kalva, who is a composer of contemporary jazz music. The program will include works by both authors, which makes it easy to guess that the visitors to the Wednesday July evening concert will spend their time in an atmosphere saturated with various rhythms, melodies and positive feelings.
