Young talent Patriks Tabaks has been immersed in the world of music since the age of six, when he began learning to play the piano and a little later began to acquire vocal skills as wells. Already at the age of 11, Patriks began performing at the Latvian National Opera, becoming known as the “boy with the golden voice.” Duets with opera singers and participation in various opera productions followed, including Carmen and Tannhäuser. Recently, he has also added guitar and violin to his musical skill set. This early experience has resulted in the launch of a solo career as a singer and songwriter. The festival will offer listeners a new project by Patriks together with his former colleague from the Riga Dome Choir School Eduards Rediko and his quartet. It will be an indulgence in a modern combination of pop and jazz stylistics in the original music of both authors.
